CO-FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kwabena Ayim

Kwabena Ayim is the Co-Founder of Empower Us and a leader in the fields of clean-energy access, workforce development, and economic justice. He partners with 23 Community Action Agencies to connect underserved communities with solar energy opportunities, energy assistance resources, and pathways into clean-energy careers.

With experience spanning low-income solar programs, LIHEAP, workforce development, and community engagement, Kwabena is dedicated to ensuring that the benefits of the clean-energy economy reach the communities that need them most. Through Empower Us and its Solar Sanctuaries initiative, he works to create lasting pathways to economic opportunity, energy equity, and environmental justice.

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jeremiah Davies

Jerry Davies is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Empower Us. He oversees the organization's financial strategy, partnerships, and operational growth while helping advance its mission of expanding clean-energy access and workforce opportunities in underserved communities.

Jerry brings extensive experience in finance, accounting, renewable energy development, and community-focused economic development. In his professional career, he supports large-scale solar and energy storage projects through financial management, capital planning, valuation, and compliance oversight.

Driven by a passion for economic opportunity and community impact, Jerry works to ensure that the clean-energy transition creates meaningful pathways to careers, financial stability, and long-term prosperity for the communities Empower Us serves.
